Lucy and Her Throne

Lucy is such a princess. Mom put together a cat tree a while ago. Lucy was the first to climb on there and tell us we don’t ever sit on her platform. I don’t fight with my sister, so she can have it. I have the entire carpet to myself!

My Elephant Friends

A week ago, mom and dad came home with 2 little elephants they got from a wedding. I thought I could be a friend to them. I gave them a hug and we shared our first nap.

They are very cuddly and soft. I like small animals. When I was in the shelter, I looked after a litter of kittens and became their temporary “mama.” I don’t want the elephants to be by themselves so they can play and nap with me.

It’s My Hammock!

Mom got a new cat tree the other day and we were all psyched about it. It’s a lot taller and has more platforms. I spotted the hammock right away after mom put it together and I wanted it! So there you go, pictures of me and MY hammock.

Lucy in Her Hyper Mode

by Jackie on May 15th, 2011 | 4 Comments

Lucy is full of surprises when her “crazy” button is hit. So the other day we were just minding our own business and all of a sudden Lucy started running across the living room like she was after an invisible bug! Turns out Lucy was “relocating” our toys by grabbing them off the floor while galloping towards the couch, then she proceeded to hide all the toys under the couch. She cleaned up all our toys one by one and we had no idea why the hurry… I mean yes we hide toys because we want to keep them to ourselves, but com’on it’s not like we were fighting with her over the toys. Even mom and dad had no idea what triggered her, but yea it’s one of those days that Lucy just decided to get really hyper. She doesn’t need a reason for it.

After she hid her last toy, mom took a picture of her, looking pretty happy about what she did. Man, I wish I had half of the energy as Lucy does. I am simply too fluffy to run around too much. I like my naps.

Here are some pictures for your enjoyment.
