Lucy in Her Hyper Mode
Lucy is full of surprises when her “crazy” button is hit. So the other day we were just minding our own business and all of a sudden Lucy started running across the living room like she was after an invisible bug! Turns out Lucy was “relocating” our toys by grabbing them off the floor while galloping towards the couch, then she proceeded to hide all the toys under the couch. She cleaned up all our toys one by one and we had no idea why the hurry… I mean yes we hide toys because we want to keep them to ourselves, but com’on it’s not like we were fighting with her over the toys. Even mom and dad had no idea what triggered her, but yea it’s one of those days that Lucy just decided to get really hyper. She doesn’t need a reason for it.
After she hid her last toy, mom took a picture of her, looking pretty happy about what she did. Man, I wish I had half of the energy as Lucy does. I am simply too fluffy to run around too much. I like my naps.
Here are some pictures for your enjoyment.

Feisty Lucy!
Lucy may be small, but she has more energy than an energizer bunny! Sometimes me and my brothers just sit back and watch her toss and chase after a milk bottle ring or wrestle with invisible monsters. She is pretty entertaining.
Mom was trying to get some Kleenex, but Lucy jumped in and started grabbing it. Needless to say the tissues didn’t survive. RIP tissues!
Lucy 1 Year Old Now!
We celebrated Lucy’s first birthday last Saturday. Even though she is an adult now, she still looks like a kitten, but mom said best things come in small packages. I have to admit that she is pretty cool.
I got to hang out with Lucy on the deck for a few minutes. She was sitting on mom’s lap the whole time, sniffing fresh air. I think she had fun.
Mom dug out some old photos of Lucy. Wow she’s come a long way! Look at how tiny she was when she was in the shelter:
