So last weekend, mom and dad went out for a few hours and came back with a lot of new toys, a huge bag of food that didn’t look like what we normally have. Then low and behold, a fuzzy cat with floppy ears and a waggy tail showed up in mommy’s arms. He was wearing a collar. What cat likes wearing that thing? So I took a sniff to check out his DNA and what cat breed he might be, but I couldn’t identify him. He smelled strange and perhaps needed a bath. Also, that tongue of his just didn’t seem to be able to stay inside. Someone needs to learn some manners.
But what the heck. He smells friendly and that’s all I care about and he is smaller than me. I always have an urge to bathe smaller animals, so I gave him a bath while mom and dad weren’t looking. He talks funny too, so we will have to teach him how to speak our language soon.
His name is Max. Mommy has been running around babysitting him day and night since day 1. What a high maintenance little baby. Soon he will learn. I want to help mom so I am always standing by little Max, making sure he is good.
This is Max, hogging our bed, but it’s ok. I let him.

I am giving Max my back to lean on
